You know, finding this official website is possibly even more satifying than the Connery one.

This is the sort of thing that really irritates me. It's a TOTALLY POINTLESS approach to acting Shakespeare. Anything Shakespeare hasn't told you about a character's past is IRRELEVANT.

If you can hear a whistling sound, it's probably my blood coming to the boil.

Hey! Sir Sean Connery's finally got an official website up and running!

Now all we need is for him to start a weblog and... rock and roll, baby!

Ah, it's been rather an Eric Idle morning; and here's further confirmation of his feature directing debut of a Merchant-Ivory spoof called The Remains of the Piano.

Just another one of those Paul McCartney stories.

Oh, no... all the UK internet news services are crammed with Big Brother stories. Could someone let me know for how long I'm going to have to avoid trawling through this rubbish? When does it all stop?

Another very original approach the the blogging phenomenon.

Makes this whole top-to-bottom, newest-at-the-top method rather old and obvious...

Anyone know where I can get a copy of the Rupert And The Frog Song vhs for less than £40?
          Me at 11:59 am |
I have finally managed to find a copy of Everybody Loves Saturday Night by The Spinners! We couldn't find any mp3s (not that we ever download mp3s, of course), the album is no longer available to buy, I couldn't find it in any second-hand record shops and my parents' version has been distorted and is completely stretched. Let's hope this comes off...

Uh-oh. Supreme Chancellor Palpatine has shut down the Holonet News channel. The freedom of the Press is looking threatened... where will this all lead to? A 1984 state, with Palpatine as Emperor, ruling through fear? I hope not!

Queen to honour Queen on palace roof.

Ah, yes, but will Mr. Deacon be taking part? He has been noticeably absent from projects involving Messrs. Taylor and Hairstyle since the collaboration with R. Williams...

Er... has the PM lost it just a little?

"Don't pull apart Europe and America because the only people that rejoice in those circumstances are the bad guys".

I'm beginning to worry now that he thinks he's in a film.

God bless George Lucas for this. And it's not what you think it is. Very encouraging to hear this from him of all people.

'Sven and Ulrika' caught getting dressed in a new Schweppes advert.

Martin Norris, of Coca-Cola Great Britain, which make Schweppes, said, "Sven has worked extremely hard for the English team and this is a tribute to his efforts."

I'm sure he's touched by your noble mark of respect, you utter, utter scum.

I'd like to point out that I am blogging this NOT because of the story's theme, but because Charlotte Church seems to describe pretty much anything under the sun as 'silly'.

Has she been sponsored to say that word?

The really scary thing is how young young women look. My Juliet, for example. She's 18 (nearly 19), but could be 16. Yes, I know what you're thinking (unless you're being filthy). That was my first thought too.
